WebFWIW I use a 12v 3Ah SLA battery. It's pretty good size and heavy but fits inside my launcher just fine (9x6x3 project box). It's good enough for days of LPR/MPR launches and runs my relay kit for high power just fine. I use a 12v 7Ah SLA at the launch pad for the relay. Best part is I can recharge with my car's trickle charger in an hour or so.
