I think most realize that the Recycle Bin in Windows is to be considered a trashcan and NOT to place anything there unless you're willing to lose it. That's contrary to Office 365 where I would have multiple people at my door if I emptied the Outlook Deleted Items folder. WebMicrosoft Storage Sense seemed like a great solution and could be configured with a GPO. But apparently this only cleans the recycle bin of files that are on the computer in question. It is a Computer applied GPO, not a User GPO. The original files are located on the server via redirected folders after all.
